BEVILACQUA, Maria – passed away peacefully at Woodlands of Sunset on Thursday, February 28, 2013 in her 93rd year. She was predeceased by her husband Angelo. She is survived by her children Josephine Tofano (Vito), Rachel Addario, Sandra DiMario (John) and Fernando Bevilacqua (Julie). Proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Maria was predeceased by her son Mario Bevilacqua, son-in-law Michael Addario and sisters Catarina Sandonato and Agata Forcucci. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her home. Her motto was “The bigger the feast the better”, no one ever left her table hungry. She will be missed at our family’s table but her spirit will always be with us. We are grateful to the staff of Woodlands of Sunset for making her last few years very happy and comfortable. Friends will be received by the family at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence, 19 Young Street, Welland on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a Vigil will be held at 2 o’clock. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Parish Community of St. Kevin on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Woodlands of Sunset or the Canadian Cancer Society.
