Memorial Tree Program

A COMFORTING SYMBOL OF LIFE...

A tree represents quiet strength, beauty, longevity and peacefulness - an ideal memorial to a person's life.
In 2002, we implemented a Memorial Tree Planting Program in partnership with Memory Woods Canada.  Each family who entrusted their care to us had a tree planted in memory of their loved in the area of Algonquin Provincial Park in beautiful Northern Ontario.

In 2014, we moved our program locally and now all memorial trees are planted in Niagara through our partnership with The Niagara Peninsula Woodlands Reforestation Program managed by Trees Unlimited, a local forestry consultant and Steward for Trees Ontario. Each tree we plant is not only a symbol of hope but a sign of a new beginning. It will stand tall as a living tribute to the memory of a loved one.

We have arranged for the planting of over 2,000 trees that will shelter our wildlife, reduce water and wind erosion and contribute to the purity of the air we breathe.  They will ensure that generations to come will know the beauty of a green planet.  It is our hope that the planting of this tree can bring comfort to the families we serve.
